Pop-Ups are those annoying windows which appear on your PC screen advertising things you don’t want and don’t need.

These are time consuming to remove, and use up your internet bandwidth.

To block the pop-ups visit:

Privacy and security > site settings in Google Chrome

Choose Safari > Settings, then click Websites

For Firefox select the Privacy & Security panel.

In Opera go to Settings; Toggle on Ad blocking, Cryptocurrency mining protection, and Block pop-ups

You can also choose to allow pop-ups from a specific site:

In Google Chrome go to the web page where the pop-ups are blocked. In the address bar click pop-up blocked. Click the link for the pop-up you would like to see. To always see pop-ups from that specific site select Always allow pop-ups and redirects from {site name}

On Safari choose settings and then click Websites. Scroll down and select Pop-up Windows, choose Allow, Block or Notify.

For Firefox choose Privacy & Security, to allow pop-ups for a specific site click the Exceptions box and enter the site address.
